Straight Steel Wire

Commonly, wire is delivered and stored on coils. That’s great most of the time, but it doesn’t work in every situation. Sometimes, you need straight wire, cut to a specific length. If that is the case for your next project, Vulcan can supply you with galvanized, high tensile straight steel wire to match your specifications.

Straight and cut wire is often used for construction and agricultural purposes, but there are many other possibilities. To learn more about our offerings in this category, please contact us today.

Size Options

Here are the size options for our steel wire. Contact us for help to determine the correct size for your needs.

GAUGE WEIGHT PER STAND
12 1,000 – 2,000 LBS
11 1,000 – 2,000 LBS
10 1,000 – 2,000 LBS

Up To Many Challenges

Our straightened galvanized high tensile wire can handle a number of different tasks, largely due to the galvanization process. Galvanization allows for a coating of zinc to be added to the surface of the metal, giving it extra protection against corrosion.

That means you should be able to expect a longer useful life from the metal in question, especially when outdoor use is planned. Of course, even if you don’t expect the wire to be used outdoors, a galvanized product can still be a suitable solution, particularly when it is purchased from a quality supplier like Vulcan.

Accessing Valuable Knowledge

If you are experienced working with wire, you may know that the process of straightening can change the way it performs. With that being the case, you should pair with an experienced partner who can help you select the right products for the task at hand. When you work with Vulcan, you’ll be able to ask all the questions you have about our straight and cut wire options, and we can point you in the right direction based on the machinery in use as the final application.
