Marine Grade 316 Stainless Wire Mesh
Marine grade 316 stainless wire mesh is considered as the second most widely used SS mesh products. It contains molybdenum, so it has better corrosion and heat resistance than SS304 mesh. Our stainless mesh are available in woven, welded, perforated and expanded structures, which are designed to meet different purposes.
Types of 316 Stainless Wire Mesh
Woven wire mesh: woven mesh is composed of interwoven wires. The producing process is similar to loom weaving. The finished woven mesh has a cloth-like appearance, so it is also known as wire cloth. Woven wire is mainly used for filtering and screening purposes. For example, in the petroleum, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, stainless woven mesh is used to filter harmful impurities in liquids and gases.
Welded wire mesh: Marine grade stainless welded mesh is a grid product with a square hole, each vertical cross has a firm welding spot. Welded mesh with a mesh opening of 3-25mm is widely used as hardware products, so it is also known as hardware cloth. It is widely used as fence panels, filter supports, screening and sieving, etc.
Perforated mesh: perforated mesh is a sheet product in which a punching machine penetrates the plate to form a series of hole patterns. Round holes are the most economical and common pattern, and other hole types include square holes, slot holes and other decorative patterns. It is widely used in various screens, filter support, ceiling, building exterior wall cladding, etc.
Expanded mesh: expanded mesh is a mesh structure formed by cutting a metal sheet with a row of multiple cutters, and then stretching the cut. The application range is very wide, such as fence and wall panels, stair grilles, walkway flooring, building facades, etc.
Mesh size: Fine, super fine and coarse
